Hi, I’m Richard, the independent developer behind Electric Acorn. I created the company as a home for the apps I build, with a focus on creating thoughtful, best in class apps for Apple platforms.

Projects
My current project is Sunbeam – a simple and elegant UV forecast app for iPhone and Apple Watch. I built the app in Xcode using modern Swift APIs and frameworks including SwiftUI, SwiftData, CloudKit, WeatherKit and WidgetKit.
